Disabilities Without Barriers
People with disabilities constitute a group that crosses lines of age, ethnicity, gender, race, sexual orientation and socioeconomic status.

A disability may be visible or not; it may be long-term or short-term; it may be present from birth or acquired. We look at the whole person and provide supports through our chat line, linking persons with services or other members with like disabilities.

Sign up for our free membership, chat and contact us with your questions or concerns. We are looking to provide children, adults and concerned individuals the means to connect with one another in hopes of creating a meaningful connection that crosses those lines.

    JOIN TASC Niagara This is an opportunity for families to bond and feel totally relaxed in a setting that is accessible to everyone in the family. Information sessions for families are also available. Topics include therapy options, nutrition, alternative health options and education regarding disabilities and future possibilities for their family members. We are in need of volunteers, transport and support people whom are interested in offering Niagara Residents a chance to grow in the community.     Our goal:
    Our immediate goal is to provide day programs for children and adults with disabilities.

    We will continue to provide services for the disabled in Niagara. We will provide (depending on individual social needs) meaningful and fulfilling day programs for young adults that are may not able to participate fully in community based programs.

    Our long-term goal will be to establish a permanent location to provide ongoing programs, employment, recreation, and residence centre that is open to the public but designed to be fully accessible for everyone.
    Activities:
    Our therapy programs will include accessible space for children and adults. We are startomg music and drama progams and will begin book clubs, exercise programs, therapy, both traditional and alternative as our funding base grows. We will be focusing on the social and emotional needs of our members. We will be increasing our programming as our funding sources increase.
